With 30 years of senior leadership experience in life sciences, Jan brings MDoutlook clients extensive
expertise in healthcare business and strategic marketing, ThoughtLeader identification and activation,
consulting and insights. Jan is a recognized leader, an innovative and strategic thinker who intimately
understands clients’ strategic and tactical needs, and recognizes how to best serve these with effective
and efficient solutions. He has managed and overseen more than 1,000 client projects in his career, and
to continued client praise. Jan leads the team of MDoutlook to deliver actionable precision intelligence
and SaaS solutions with Lumineer™, Orienteer™, Activeer™ and Pulse insights.
Prior to establishing MDoutlook, Jan spent 5 years in increasing leadership positions at Imedex, an
accredited medical education company. As President, Jan integrated the acquisition of The American
School of Oncology with Imedex into one organization focused on producing global continuing
education, and was part of the AmerisourceBergen leadership.
Previously, Jan led a team of consultants at Cambridge Pharma Consultancy, a subsidiary of IQvia. As
Engagement Director, Jan provided international strategic consulting to pharmaceutical and biotech
companies in the areas of M&A, licensing, and marketing strategy. He was Consultant for Robert Pino &
Company in the Netherlands, a subsidiary of Berenschot, focused on product strategy and responsible
for establishing its healthcare practice. Jan started his career as Project Manager with Altana in the sales
of cardiovascular products before joining Organon as International Product Manager. At Organon, Jan
was responsible for the commercialization of psychiatry products, and directed the global launch of
Remeron leading to $1b+ in annual sales.
Jan holds Master’s degrees in Medicine from University of Amsterdam, Business Administration and
Business Informatics from Rotterdam School of Management / University of Michigan. He resides in
Atlanta, GA. Jan is active on the board of several organizations, including Entrepreneurs Organization
Atlanta.
